Hudson (2019)
Richard Masur in Indie Road Trip Comedy Film 'Hudson' Official Trailer
Hudson (2019)
"Nothing's turned out the way that I planned it." 1091 Pictures has released a trailer for an indie road trip comedy titled Hudson, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Sean Daniel Cunningham. This won the Audience Award at the 2019 Phoenix Film Festival, and picked up a few other awards at festivals that year. It's finally arriving on VOD for all to enjoy this year. On a journey to scatter his mother's ashes, a reclusive, timid man encounters unexpected friendships and a chance to start living his life - a dysfunctional adventure of self discovery, and mini-golf, and broken Volvos. "Hudson is a feel good, funny road trip movie with big laughs and an even bigger heart." Starring Richard Masur (who played Clark in The Thing!), with Gregory Lay, David Neal Levin, and Mary Catherine Greenawalt. This looks like a worthy discovery. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Sean Daniel Cunningham's Hudson,...

Time's Up for 'A Japanese Game Show'
BuddyTV’s very own Gina Scarpa recently evaluated the poorly received I Survived a Japanese Game Show, which airs its season finale tonight at 9pm on ABC. We already know that the show received poor ratings due to the lack of dynamism of the show and the contestants in it. Nonetheless, some contestants seemed to have enjoyed the show. Take for example Mary Greenawalt, the 23-year-old gym membership sales representative from North Carolina, who admits that she was a Japanese game show geek even before entering the competition.

"I actually had an advantage because I am a total You Tube fanatic and I had watched Japanese game shows via You Tube or even on 'Ellen'," Matthews confessed. "So I already had an idea of the madness we were about to get into and the silliness, but you know, you can only imagine so much."

Moreover, Matthews says that she had...

Meet the Cast of ABC's 'I Survived a Japanese Game Show'
Yesterday, we reported on ABC's newest reality game show offering, which will send ten Americans to the Eastern lands of Japan to compete in absurdly crazy games to win a total of $250,000. These ten Americans will be grouped by pairs and will have to endure hilarious and at times pointless challenges to bag the price and eventually claim “I Survived a Japanese Game Show!”

Read on to meet the cast of the newest ABC comedy-meets-reality offering, in which contenders will have to eat food off each other, make scrambled eggs with their butts and act as a human stuff-toy-collecting crane.

Meet 23-year-old Mary Greenawalt. She's a gym membership sales representative from Matthews, North Carolina. Her red hair flares with her personality, and she is admittedly vain. She has a devil-may-care attitude which makes her love herself a little bit more than she would other people. Mary the wild child enjoys...
