Spain’s Ana Rujas, best known for co-creating and starring Atresmedia successful series “Cardo” while praised for her lead performance in Los Javis and Movistar Plus+ “La Mesías,” is attached to topline boxing TV drama bioseries “Rosa.”
Set up at Studio TF1’s Madrid-based Kubik Films, “Rosa” is one of the finalist projects to compete at the Pitch Co-Pro Series hosted by this year’s Conecta Fiction & Entertainment.
The series is created and written by María Cantuel and executive produced by Guadalupe Balaguer Trelles and Fernando Sánchez-Cabezudo at Kubik Films, the production company founded in 2011 by his brothers Jorge and Alberto Sánchez-Cabezudo, creators behind feature “The Night of Sunflowers” and TV dramas such as “Crematorium” (Canal+), “La Zona” (Movistar Plus+) and “See You in Another Life” (Disney+).
