Vanna White Extends ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contract for Another 2 Years
Vanna White
Vanna White has extended her “Wheel of Fortune” contract for another two years. The series returned for Season 41 last Monday.

This news comes after White renewed her “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” contract in July. Under this new contract, White will continue to unveil letters on the iconic puzzle board through the 2025-26 season.

As previously announced, Season 41, which started this week, will be the last for host Pat Sajak. After this season, Ryan Seacrest will take over the iconic role.

Moving forward in this new season, social media correspondent Maggie Sajak will lead a new weekly sweepstakes called “Fan Fridays.” Fans will have the opportunity to win cash, vacations, merchandise and more in a competition that will travel everywhere from Newport, Rhode Island, to parts of Europe.

Additionally, Alex Van Wagner has been named the series’ director after the retirement of Robert Ennis over the series’ hiatus. Van Wagner is...

Vanna White Extends ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Tenure Through 2025-26
Image
Vanna White will remain with Wheel of Fortune as the show enters a new era.

White has signed a two-year contract extension to continue as co-host of the syndicated game show through the 2025-26 season. That will take her two years into the hosting tenure of Ryan Seacrest, who will take over for longtime host Pat Sajak in fall 2024.

Sajak announced in June that he would retire as Wheel of Fortune’s host — a position he’s held for four decades — at the end of the 2023-24 season. Sony Pictures TV, which produces the game show, named Seacrest as his replacement soon thereafter, but White’s status remained up in the air until now.

“This is such great news,” Seacrest said in an interview with Willie Geist for NBC’s Sunday Today show. “Vanna has been such a staple on that show and in our living rooms for so many years.

‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Co-Host Vanna White Closes New Deal As Game Show Kicks Off Final Season With Pat Sajak
Image
After lengthy negotiations, Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White has extended her contract for additional two years to continue on the hit syndicated game show through the 2025-26 season.

The news comes as Wheel Of Fortune just kicked off Season 41 last week, which will be the last for longtime host Pat Sajak. By signing her new deal, White — whose existing contract is up at the end of the current 2023-24 season — will provide continuity. She will be working alongside Wheel‘s new host, Ryan Seacrest, who will take over for Sajak next fall. Wheel of Fortune has been renewed through Season 45.

“I love Vanna White. I’ve known Vanna for a long time,” Seacrest said in an interview with Fortune this week. “We sat in important places next to each other. And I hope for nothing more than to be able to walk out on that stage and host with her.

Vanna White Extends ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contract Through 2025-26 Season

Vanna White has extended her contract on “Wheel of Fortune” by two years as the show begins its farewell season with longtime host Pat Sajak.

White has inked a contract extension that keeps her revealing letters on the durable syndicated game show through the 2025-26 TV season. Sajak announced earlier this year his plan to retire after Season 41, which began this week. Ryan Seacrest, late of “American Idol” and “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” is on deck to succeed Sajak as host starting with the 2024-25 season.

“Wheel of Fortune” and its companion “Jeopardy,” both of which are produced by Sony Pictures Television and distributed by CBS Media Ventures, have been mainstays of early evening television in the U.S. since the mid-1980s.
