Biography

Leeshon was born and raised in London. He trained at ALRA (Academy of Live and Recorded Arts).

He was nominated for best actor at the 2014 Edinburgh International Film Festival for his role as Robert Stewart in We Are Monster, which he also wrote, the film was also nominated for Best British Feature Film.

He went on to play a lead role in UK box office smash hit Brotherhood and was most recently nominated for best supporting actor at the inaugural Malta Film Awards 2022 for his role as Private Colebrooke in the period drama Blood on the Crown, starring alongside Harvey Keitel.

Leeshon played another lead role in the Sky Original action film Hounds of War alongside Frank Grillo and has also starred in the incredible true story Not Without Hope by Joe Carnahan.
