Todd duBoef
- Producer
Todd duBoef is the President of Top Rank Inc., the world leading boxing promotion company. Over the past five decades, Top Rank has staged some of the boxing's most iconic and largest-grossing events.
Since joining the company in 1993, duBoef has been instrumental in shaping both its domestic and international media strategies. At the same time, he developed a deep understanding of boxing and fighter development - playing a central role in the careers of top athletes such as Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto, and others.
In the early 1990s, with the rapid growth of the Hispanic population in the United States, Todd duBoef recognized boxing as one of the cornerstone sports entertainment for this growing demographic. This led to the creation of Solo Boxeo, a weekly boxing program that aired on Univision.
In 2017, duBoef helped usher in the major shift in boxing distribution from premium cable to basic cable by aligning Top Rank with ESPN and Disney. The partnership included content across cable, pay-per-view, and direct-to-consumer platforms. When ESPN+ launched in April 2018, Top Rank was one of its flagship live sports content providers, further solidifying the brand's presence in the digital streaming era.
