Combining extensive training in Indian ragas, classic Hindustani and
Western music with a film school background, allows award-winning
composer Krsna to produce distinctive scores for features, Singles and
documentaries.
Hit Bollywood film "Tanu Weds Manu" marked his debut as a Music Composer (and playback singer). He produced its chart-busting songs "Jugni", "Rangrez" and "Yun Hi". One of the year's most popular music albums, it won Krsna Filmfare's 2012 Best Music Talent Award and another Filmfare nomination for Best Original Score. This established Krsna as a versatile music composer in Bollywood and landed him multiple scoring assignments.
His 2nd feature "Jolly LLB's" hit track "Jhooth Boliya" also became one of the year's top ten movies. Changing genres, an independent film he scored, "Oonga" has been selected for 2013's New York Indian Film Festival.
A Film Communication graduate from India's prestigious National Institute of Design - Krsna understands and can communicate the nuances and requirements of music scores.
Apart from motion picture work, Krsna is expanding into producing World Fusion, R&B, Oriental Hip-hop, Pop-Dance and House music integrated with classical and contemporary Indian ethos.
