Matthew Tibbenham is a British-American Writer, Director, and Narrative Designer, working in the film, VR, and video game industries.
His first major credit was on the horror film, Sinister (2012), directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Ethan Hawke, as the Director's Assistant and Second Unit Director.
His first feature film, Surviving Confession (2019), written by Nathan Shane Miller, was released on all major streaming platforms to overall positive reviews.
In addition to film, Matthew has worked on groundbreaking VR projects including Peaky Blinders: The King's Ransom (2022) as a Writer, Performance Director, and Narrative Designer. And more recently, he has worked on Supermassive Game's The Dark Picture Anthology, helping craft innovative horror stories for their cinematic video games.
As of 2023, he is prepping his next feature film, Follow the Dark (2025), with his frequent collaborator, Nathan Shane Miller, produced by Silent D Pictures.
