Emmalie was born in Cambridge, England but soon left for France, where she lived for 6 years. After that she moved to Colorado, USA where she lived until she was 17. After moving back to England, she enrolled at Cambridge Regional College where she left with a National Diploma in Media. Seven years later, she enrolled at Ravensbourne College of Arts and Communications, where she graduated with a 2:1 in Editing and Post Production. She's now a Freelance Editor based in London, England.
