‘Death Bitch’ Review
Image
Stars: Linnea Swanson, Lawrence Waller, Doug Waugh, Traci Burr, Ken Brewer, Tom Grindle, Al Zuniga, Bridget Powers | Written by Ken Brewer, Meri Gyetvay | Directed by Ken Brewer

With a title like Death Bitch, you know you’re not about to see a sensitive drama or family-friendly, faith-based film. But in case you had any doubts, the film’s opening moments should dispel them as two would-be rapists jump a streetwalker only to get blown away by a female vigilante.

But that’s not the only violence happening in this part of town tonight. The serial killer known as The South Bay Slasher has claimed another victim as well. These crimes have left Detective Shane Douglas so baffled that, much to his dismay, the chief has assigned him a partner, Detective Maddie Schoefield.

And, since bad things come in threes, South Bay is also the turf of Dante and his gang.

Treasure Chest of Horrors II Wraps Production and Teaser News
Budget horror knows no bounds with Treasure Chest of Horrors II. This new volume offers a bevy of schlock that may be as good as the first volume. In terms of star power, past Penthouse Pet of the Month (2009) Veronica Ricci gets the honour of introducing this anthology as Mona Screamalot. The first volume had Percival Pirate (Paymon Seyedi) introducing pieces while looking for his grandfather’s hidden treasure chest. But in what opens up in the second volume might perk some eyes if Ricci starts to undress. As for whether or not that is enough, what this new volume offers still remains to be seen. Production has wrapped and the team is looking for distribution deals to bring this new set of shorts to the masses. Directors Doug Waugh, Shawn C. Phillips, and Alex Powers have created a set of tales involving killers of all ages and a strangeness that only they can create.
