For nine long years, Derrick Levasseur held the “Big Brother” record for lasting the most days in the house without ever being nominated for eviction. The Rhode Island police sergeant ended Season 16 on Day 97 as the ultimate winner, having never set foot on the block. Now, his record has been beaten by an unlikely houseguest from Season 25: Bowie Jane.
This Australian DJ didn’t know much about the game of “Big Brother” before being cast in the longest-ever season in the summer of 2023. However, after winning the most recent Head of Household competition on the November 2 episode, Bowie is now guaranteed to make it to the final day in the house, Day 100, without ever touching the block.

Now in its 25th season, Big Brother has had to come up with some twists and turns to help shake up the game. There are consistently new elements introduced to the series and exciting new competitions, or variations of old ones. But a handful of competitions, including endurance, Head of Household, Veto, and Have Not, have continued to come back because the fans can't get enough of them.
The competitions make up the backbone of the Big Brother series. Players gain power in the House and can get immunity from elimination by winning these games. The fans love seeing the compeitions play out and love to see someone who dominates the games. Big Brother 22 was a disappointing season due to the blatant pre-gaming orchestrated by Daniele Donato, which made the gameplay formulaic and methodical. Daniele's previous appearances on Big Brother in seasons 8 and 13 established her as a strong competitor and a polarizing figure due to her relationship with her father, Dick. Janelle revealed that Daniele was the one responsible for initiating the pre-gaming in Bb 22, which ultimately led to a predictable outcome and a lackluster season.

The Big Brother Tiny Veto competition, where houseguests stack tiny cans with giant tweezers, has become a fan-favorite game with iconic winners. Da'Vonne Rogers was the first Black woman in 12 seasons to win the Power of Veto during Big Brother 22's Tiny Veto competition. Alyssa Lopez's underdog win in the Tiny Veto competition during Big Brother 23 threw a wrench in The Cookout alliance's plans.
The Big Brother Tiny Veto competition was introduced in 2020 during the second all-stars season, and has become a classic fan-favorite game, with several iconic winners. During the Tiny Veto competition, the houseguests must stack tiny objects in a pyramid using only a pair of giant tweezers. If the objects fall, the contestants can pick them up with the tweezers and try again. Whichever competitor finishes their pyramid first wins.
During Big Brother 24, the Tiny Veto competition was played as a Head of Household (Hoh) competition instead of a veto contest.

Two-time Big Brother contestant Cody Calafiore credits his faith in God for getting him so far in the competition. As a houseguest, Cody was known for being loyal to a fault. In 2014, although he could have easily beaten Victoria Rafaeli and won Big Brother 16, he chose to remain loyal to his final two partner Derrick Levasseur. Because of this decision, Derrick won instead of Cody. Even though it could be seen as one of the biggest mistakes in the history of Big Brother, Cody's been admired for his steadfast loyalty to Derrick and their "The Hitmen" alliance.
In 2020, Cody returned for Big Brother 22, an all-stars season. He won four Head of Household competitions and four Power of Vetos. Cody also made it to the final three without being nominated. He was the first houseguest to ever win the final Hoh competition twice. He won the game unanimously with a vote of 9-0 versus Enzo Palumbo.

Devin Walker has called out several of The Challenge: USA stars after watching how things went for the cast members competing in the CBS spinoff show’s final.
The show recently aired its two-hour grand finale on CBS and featured a final that some fans might consider comparable to the MTV show’s finals.
However, CBS’ version featured a variety of circumstances that happened before and during the final that viewers and spinoff cast members have criticized.
Several things caused issues for the competitors, putting them at a disadvantage or costing them a chance to continue competing. In addition, post-season exit interview comments from some finalists have indicated production wasn’t correctly explaining rules along the way.
That said, Devin isn’t listening to any excuses, as he even called out one of the finalists by name,...

Big Brother stars have made the leap from the CBS show to MTV’s main show over the years; some have even won. With The Challenge: USA spinoff, many new cast members from CBS reality TV shows got their first taste of Tj Lavin’s action-packed extravaganza.
That included Alyssa Lopez, among several Bb 24 stars competing in the spinoff. She was also amongst the few from Bb that advanced deep into the season, possibly defying the expectations of some castmates, viewers, and herself.
Following the airing of Episode 11, which consisted of The Challenge: USA final, Alyssa shared her thoughts about the season.

And then there were two. The Challenge: USA started its final with 10 players, but then Ben Driebergen was medically disqualified, and by the end, there were only two players at the top of the mountain. And that was because everyone else quit: Enzo Palumbo in the first leg, swimming (taking his partner Desi Williams with him); Angela Rummans, after thinking she could just take last place in the all-night checkpoint; and Tyson Apostol, Justine Ndiba, Dom Abbate, and Cayla Platt during the final leg, at sudoku. Danny McCray reached the finish line first, followed by Sarah Lacina, who had been so far behind she thought she was going to come in last. Thankfully, she refused to quit. Here, McCray and Lacina take us inside that final and look ahead to the world championship. You were the only ones to finish the final. Talk about that last leg, because Danny, you...

The Challenge: USA final recently arrived for the first installment of the spinoff season, with CBS stars competing to become the first-ever champions.
Initially, 10 individuals qualified for the event, but various circumstances reduced their numbers before and during the final.
Ultimately it left two cast members as the season’s winners due to the field of competitors becoming fewer and fewer as the final went on.
However, several questionable situations resulted in a few competitors getting eliminated from the running.
Based on recent comments on social media, Angela Rummans may have a gripe with how things were set up or explained.
This report will contain spoilers regarding who competed in the final, who got ousted for different reasons, and who won the event.

The Challenge: USA continues to draw in several million viewers every week as it airs directly after CBS’ popular reality TV competition show, Big Brother.
Episode 10 of The Challenge: USA showed an increase in ratings compared to the prior installment, suggesting many more viewers could also be watching the upcoming season finale.
The penultimate episode featured a daily challenge that only one competitor could complete and yet another difficult elimination discussion between the daily event’s winning players.
Later, there was a fierce showdown at The Arena in an elimination event featuring two friends who were also former castmates.
A teaser also had host Tj Lavin revealing that his final was around the corner, meaning fans have just one “supersized” episode of the CBS spinoff show left.
This report will contain some spoilers through Episode 10 of The Challenge: USA.

Big Brother was one of four CBS reality TV shows that brought cast members to The Challenge: USA, a spinoff of MTV’s popular competition show.
Among those Big Brother stars was David Alexander, who originally appeared in Season 21 of the CBS show, then returned for Season 22, aka All Stars.
David didn’t have the best showing during his original reality TV show, becoming the first player evicted in Bb 21. He fared slightly better in Bb 22, as the ninth player evicted and got onto the All Stars jury.
However, his appearance as an underdog who defied the odds on The Challenge: USA may have boosted his status in the reality TV world.
He recently opened up about how he’s been training hard to appear on The Challenge again, with three potential shows he could go on.

The Challenge: USA brought out another classic elimination for the penultimate episode of the season: Balls In. And by the end of it, both players — Big Brother‘s David Alexander and Enzo Palumbo were exhausted. Yes, the friends faced off, despite Alexander, who lost the daily, trying to appeal to the daily’s winners Big Brother‘s Angela Rummans and Survivor‘s Ben Driebergen to send in Survivor‘s Tyson Apostol or Domenick Abbate. And in the end, it was Alexander who was eliminated. Alexander opens up about that elimination, why he wants to do another season, and more. There seemed to be a real division in the house, with you and Enzo separate from the others. How were you feeling about your standing? David Alexander: I didn’t feel that huge alliance. I know that Alyssa wasn’t as strong with me because I sent Derek home. She was really,...
