James is an actor and musician born in Washington DC and a former DC police officer. His family spent time in Cheltenham and London before moving back to Md.
Having always dreamed of working in TV and film, in 1994 James got his first role as a background actor playing a police officer. "It wasn't a stretch but it was an amazing experience that confirmed my desire to be an actor". After 5 years, James left the police department. While working a multitude of other jobs, James continued to find background work in TV and Films such as 'Species II', 'Homicide Life on the Street' and 'Howard Sterns Private Parts' shot in NYC.
In 2005, James moved to Hawaii in hopes of getting on LOST. In 2009, after four years of working in retail and the restaurant industry, James was cast as a "Widmore Scientist" recurring over 5 episodes in LOST's 6th season. This lead to a long held dream of joining SAG-AFTRA. He enrolled in acting classes and workshops while gaining invaluable onset experience working as a Stand-in and occasionally Photo & Stunt double for seasons 1-3 of Hawaii Five-O.
In 2011, James was cast in his first principal role as 'Scott' for ABC's OffTheMap in a scene opposite Todd Louiso. He was then cast in 2 different roles in episodes of season's 1 & 6 of CBS Hawaii Five-O. Though based in Honolulu, James hopes to also find work Los Angeles. " I've been lucky enough to get this far, and I love what I do. So I'm going to continue to grow, learn, do my best and make the most of it".
