Pero Mocibob was a successful soccer player in seventies. Most of his active years he played for NK Zagreb as centre-forward. On July 19th 1973. he played on the stadium Maksimir (stadium of Croatian most popular team NK Dinamo) the match between NK Zagreb and NK Osijek. Although many famous European teams played on this stadium and NK Dinamo was a winner of Inter-Cities Fairs Cup (today UEFA Cup) this 2nd Yugoslavian League (!) match was the most visited sport event in Croatia so far, with almost 70000 spectators watching it. Pero Mocibob scored both goals for NK Zagreb, and as the match ended tied 2-2 the winner, NK Zagreb, was decided by penalty shootouts and Mocibob scored one of the penalties as well.
