Tymon Brown is an American filmmaker, actor, educator, and organizer. In 2006, he began his career shooting and editing an investigative documentary in Palestine, followed by a series of docs on the underground music scene in Westchester County, NY. He has made music videos for Mitski, Porches, Starchild, and more.
From 2009 onward, he has directed, edited, and produced dozens of shorts, and edited multiple feature films.
From 2020 to 2022, he was the head Director of Video Production for the educational think-tank The Gravel Institute, producing dozens of prestige educational films.
In 2017, he co-founded New Cinema Club in Brooklyn.
Tymon is an alum of the SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory.
