Klemen Slakonja is a versatile Slovenian entertainer known for his work as an actor, comedian, television host, musician, and impersonator. He studied at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television in Ljubljana, where he honed his skills in dramatic arts and artistic expression.
Slakonja's career took off in 2007 when he hosted a local event celebrating Slovenian hammer throw champion Primoz Kozmus. His humorous impersonation of Slovenian musicians caught the attention of radio host Edi Straus, leading to his first public performance on the national radio show "Radio Ga Ga". Shortly after, he made his television debut on the satirical show "Hri-bar," where he continued to entertain with his impersonations.
In 2008, Klemen became the host of the popular Sunday afternoon family show "NLP" on RTV Slovenia. He has since hosted various TV shows, including the Slovenian Eurovision Song Contest selection show and the comedy show "Zadetek v petek". His impersonations of public figures like Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Pope Francis have gained him widespread popularity.
Klemen released his debut Christmas EP, "Under My Xmas Tree," in 2020, featuring six holiday-themed songs. He represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with his song "How Much Time Do We Have Left," showcasing his musical talents alongside his comedic skills.
