Selina Ringel is a LatinX award-winning writer, producer, and actress whose latest feature film You, Me & Her-winner of 14 awards and boasting a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating-hits theaters soon. Her previous film, Single Mother by Choice, is streaming on HBO Max which captures her real pregnancy during the height of the pandemic in a fictionalized narrative script she wrote. Her first feature The Best People was bought my Samuel Goldwyn Films and is available in over 40 countries. Selina has collaborated with notable talents like Issa Rae, Lee Aronsohn, and Salvador Paskowitz.
A graduate of the American Film Institute's MFA Producing program, Selina also wrote, produced and starred in her own stand up comedy special called 2 Moms 1 Mic about the trials and tribulations of motherhood with Kaela Crawford. Her scripts have garnered multiple accolades at various competitions including being a winner and or finalist at Slamdance, WIF and the Blacklist, The next teen movie of the decade held By Issa Rae & Paul Feig, Your Script Produced. She is currently coming out with a book called Be the Train which will be a guide for other indie filmmakers on how to jump start their first feature. She runs her own production company Two Hands Productions with her husband and business partner Dan Levy Dagerman.
