Biography

    • Paul Chronnell is a produced screenwriter, published author and playwright.

      Manchester-born Paul graduated from Aberystwyth University with a degree in Drama. He spent the next ten years working with a theatre company in South Wales, appearing in more than 40 productions. During this time he also began writing for various prime time comedy shows including Spitting Image, Hale & Pace, Russ Abbot, Brian Conley, Planet Mirth and Talking Balls.

      His full-length feature film credits include: Four (Oh My! Productions, Dir: John Langridge), Airborne (Press On Features/Black & Blue Films, Dir: Dominic Burns), Endangered Species (Lionsgate, Dir: M.J. Bassett). During the first UK lock-down he wrote the award-winning short film Waiting For Time (Worthily Film, Dir The Bashford Twins).

      He has optioned and developed other scripts with various production companies including Zero Gravity (Ozark), Goldfinch (A Bird Flew In) and Sharon Maguire (Bridget Jones).

      His original play, Millstones was forced to cancel its debut national tour in 2020 due to the pandemic. The play has just enjoyed a very successful industry sharing starring Michael Maloney and Marcus Brigstocke and is seeking production partners.

      He has just published his first novel entitled The RSVPeople.
