Twerking, hip thrusting, ball-talk, sliding into DMs... There was a lot of excitement during E! News' chat with the Green Bay Packers players (and perhaps aspiring singer-dancers?) who made a guest appearance on Pitch Perfect 2 today. Linebacker Clay Matthews, offensive linemen David Bakhtiari, T.J. Lang, Josh Sitton and Don Barclay joined Aaron Rodgers' younger brother and fellow football player Jordan Rodgers for a rendition of Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" for the anticipated sequel, and lived to tell the tale. "Twitter, long story short. Just getting in contact with Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman," Bakhtiari tells us when asked how they got a role in the film...

Earlier today, a brief behind-the-scenes clip debuted from the highly-anticipated sequel Pitch Perfect 2, featuring members of the Green Bay Packers football team, Clay Matthews III, David Bakhtiari, Tj Lang, Josh Sitton, Don Barclay and Jordan Rodgers. As it turns out, that video was a precursor to the sequel's official Super Bowl trailer, which also featured these football players showing off their a cappella singing skills, and Anna Kendrick's Beca belting out her version of Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats." We also get a glimpse of a speech by Rebel Wilson's Fat Amy talking about Team America's "haters."

The sequel centers on the Barden Bellas entering an international a cappella competition that no American team has ever won. During NBC's pre-game coverage for Super Bowl Xlix, Pitch Perfect 2 director and star Elizabeth Banks showed up at the big game, bringing with her a new behind-the-scenes clip from her highly-anticipated sequel, which, surprisingly enough, does have a football connection. Green Bay Packers players Clay Matthews III, David Bakhtiari, Tj Lang, Josh Sitton, Don Barclay and Jordan Rodgers appear in the sequel as themselves, during an a cappella competition, as we catch glimpses of new footage along with the players themselves getting ready for their big scene.

Unfortunately, the sequel will not have an official Super Bowl commercial during the big game, but the first trailer was released back in November. It remains to be seen when we'll get our next glimpse of footage from Pitch Perfect 2, which brings back the Barden Bellas as they attempt to win an international a cappella competition that no American team has ever won before.
