Jen has been acting professionally since their teens. Along with Susie Gidseg she was a founding member of Austin theatre company The Vestige Group which formed in 2005. As Co-Artistic Director, Jen performed in and directed numerous award-nominated Vestige shows as well as serving as the sound and costume designer for nearly all Vestige productions.

Not long after turning their focus towards voice acting/film/tv in 2007, Jen landed the role of Agent Carolina on Rooster Teeth's landmark web series Red Vs Blue. A couple of years later RWBY debuted & Jen had the privilege of voicing "The Great One" aka Pyrrha Nikos. Jen also appeared in six additional Rooster Teeth series including Camp Camp and the apocalyptic television drama Day 5. As a huge nerd, Jen is also beyond honored to be the voice of Harley Quinn, Mary Marvel, Hecate, and more for the official DC Universe Online MMO.

Along with Rafael Ruiz, Jen is the co-creator of the 2020 El Rey TV show Genre Graveyard with Jen & Fantasma. The show was inspired by their Bloody Disgusting Network Podcast: Women In Caskets. Additionally, Jen Brown is also a drag artist who goes by the name FridaAnn Slip when performing live.
