Michael (Dane) Peterson was born November 2, 1965 in Longview, Washington to proud parents Judith and Marvin Peterson. At age 14 he began working for the family business, Cala Foods, in San Francisco, California. While he helped in the family stores, he attended Aragon High School in San Mateo, CA. When he wasn't busy at school or work, he was involved in life training programs such as the San Diego Boating Academy and the San Mateo Harbor Patrol. He became very interested in acting and modeling, he eagerly attended acting workshops and sought out apprenticeships wherever possible. Michael was active in the entertainment industry. Some of his achievements were being an active SAG member, an actor for Calvin Klein, worked for Twentieth Century Fox, co-starring in a number of television productions such as the television series "Teen Wolf," "Project Phoenix," as well as a lead, supporting lead or performing stunts in various films. He was even featured in a Luther Vandross video. Michael Peterson is survived by his mother Judith Cala-Rhodes; stepfather Caley Rhodes Sr.; father Marvin Peterson; stepmother Marian Peterson, sister Debbie Peterson; brother Timothy (Virginia) Peterson; uncles, James Whipple and Allen Whipple, his 97 year old grand mother (2016); and many wonderful friends. Michael was a very talented and fun loving man who loved his family and performance art.
