Kurt Fearnley AO is an iconic and highly esteemed Australian Paralympian, advocate, and public figure. He is celebrated not only for his incredible athletic achievements in wheelchair racing but also for his tireless work in disability advocacy and community engagement. Kurt is one of Australia's most successful and inspiring athletes. Born without the lower portion of his spine (sacral agenesis), he took up wheelchair racing at age 14 and quickly rose to elite levels. He has represented Australia at five Paralympic Games: Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio 2016.
