Nathaniel Kweku

Nathaniel Kweku's notable acting credits include appearances on S.W.A.T., Start Up, Lopez and Rosewood. He also starred opposite veteran Ghanaian actor John Dumelo in Before the Vows a feature romantic comedy for Nicole Amarteifio (An African City) shot on location in Ghana. Nathaniel also created and starred in 2019 CMSI and Comedy Central Laughter Lab finalist Growing Up Immigrant which premiered at the Pan-African Film Festival. As a writer he took part in A3's inaugural writing lab, The Colony, in 2020 and his feature screenplay Shades of Thema won first place at the 2016 Hollywood Black Film Festival. He holds a Master's in African Studies from UCLA and a Bachelors from USC in Business Administration and Cinematic Arts. He currently serves as an Executive Board Member of the African Artists Association, operating with the commitment of telling more holistic narratives that bridge the gap between Africans and the African Diaspora.
