Julia Tokarz is an actress, writer, director, and unapologetic dog lover. Her half-hour TV pilot Top Dog - which she wrote, directed, and starred in - was an official selection at multiple festivals and won Best Series at the 2019 Nashville Film Festival.
Her TV and film credits include Half Magic (Heather Graham's directorial debut), The Following (FOX), Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central), and The Last O.G. (TBS).
Julia began her career in comedy, training at UCB-NY from 2008 to 2012. She also created and starred in the award-winning web series It's Not Okay, Cupid!, which screened at festivals nationwide and was featured in Backstage Magazine.
Outside of storytelling, she's the co-owner of East Side Cheesecakes, a beloved Los Angeles bakery she founded during the pandemic in 2020.
