    • Elisabeth Holm is an Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA and PGA-nominated producer and screenwriter. Recently, she produced and co-wrote the story for Dean Fleischer Camp's Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, which premiered at the 2021 Telluride Film Festival and was acquired by A24. Marcel was hailed by the National Board of Review and New York Film Critics Circle as the Best Animated Film of 2022. The film garnered Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA, and PGA nominations in the category and won Annie Awards for Best Indie Feature, Best Writing, and Best Voice Acting for its co-creator and star Jenny Slate. Holm has been working in independent cinema for over a decade. She co-wrote and produced Gillian Robespierre's debut feature Obvious Child, starring Slate. The film premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by A24. Holm received the Sundance Red Crown Producer's Award for her work on the film, which ranked as one of NBR's Top 10 Independent Films of the year. Holm subsequently co-wrote and produced Robespierre's Landline starring Slate, Edie Falco, and John Turturro. The film premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Amazon Studios. As a television creator, Holm has written and executive produced pilots for FX, Hulu, Amazon, Freeform, Annapurna, and A24, and as a cultural journalist, she has written for Time Out New York, Filmmaker, City Paper, and Paper magazines. In addition to her scripted film and television work, Holm got her start working for veteran documentarian Joe Berlinger and was the associate producer of his Academy Award-nominated Paradise Lost 3, the final chapter of the acclaimed HBO documentary series following the case of the wrongfully-convicted West Memphis 3. Holm was recognized by Forbes as one of 30 Under 30 and is a Sundance Women's Initiative Fellow. She is a native New Yorker and lives in Brooklyn.
