Did Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have an unexpected reunion? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Khloe Kardashian’s past came knocking just before she turned 40, bringing an unexpected reunion with Lamar Odom after nearly a decade apart.
The former couple’s paths crossed once more in a scene straight out of a reality TV script, except this time, it wasn’t just cameras capturing the moment. It was Malika Haqq, Khloe’s longtime best friend, who set the wheels in motion after running into Odom at the 2024 Super Bowl.

Lamar Odom’s Emotional Confession
Khloe barely flinched when the former NBA star finally showed up, late, “scared,” and “sweating.”
“I haven’t seen you in so long. You make me nervous,” Lamar told Khloe, terming their reunion as an “out-of-body” experience.

One needn’t know the difference between a touchdown and a turnover to enjoy the Super Bowl. For many viewers (and we suspect many a TVLine reader), it’s all about the commercials.
Each year, advertisers pony up big bucks to wave their wares in front of more than 100 million viewers (even though most ads are now released online, ahead of the Big Game). So, who drafted famous faces to shill? And who among them delivered the biggest laughs?

Currently, Lamar seems to be leading the feud with a clear-cut win thanks to his electrifying ‘Pop Out’ show that left a trail of disgruntled Drake fans in its wake. Kobe Bryant was a basketball legend and known far and wide. But yes, sometimes his attitude is something else. That unbothered vibe of his? It can be a killer. One memorable incident involving a basketball player occurred during a game.

Picture this: Bryant, cool as ice, ignored comedian Chris Rock’s jokes during a game. It’s one of those moments that sticks with you, right? It shows just how sharp the 41-year-old’s focus can be, even off the court.
Kobe Bryant’s One Of The Freezing Moments In History
Kobe Bryant’s legacy stretched far beyond the basketball court with unforgettable moments, including one where he ignored comedian Chris Rock. Throughout his career, Bryant embodied competitiveness, driven solely by winning.

When Intuit Dome — the new Inglewood home of the Los Angeles Clippers that billionaire owner Steve Ballmer has spent upward of $2 billion constructing — opens in August, it will unveil not only a state-of-the-art sports and concert venue, but also a high-end VIP club.
The Lexus Courtside Lounge — available to those with courtside seats — is being designed by London-based interior designer Rita Konig, who was also behind the look of the Hollywood-loved private members’ club San Vicente Bungalows. Gillian Zucker, president of business operations for the Clippers, says that when looking to create the arena’s courtside experience, they were inspired by the energy of the Bungalows, which is “so L.A.-vibey, and at the same time it’s comfortable. You just feel like you’re at home, or at least a place you wish were your home.”

In Abbott Elementary's "Teacher Appreciation," faculty waged war over coveted courtside tickets to a Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers basketball game. The episode capitalized on the ABC sitcom's trend of incorporating the basketball team into the world of their series, a representation severely lacking from the much longer-running Philadelphia-based sitcom, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
While It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has centered Philly sports legends from Rocky Balboa to the Phillie Phanatic in its narrative, the show has had more references to the Sixers as a unit of alcohol than their city's NBA team. Though the settings of Abbott Elementary and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia allow the shows to explore different aspects of Philadelphia culture from one another, sports have been a connective thread between the two and other Philly-based sitcoms. They emphasize community, bringing the setting to the forefront in a way that allows for character growth and a...

NBA All-World is the latest Augmented reality game released by Niantic allowing players to build teams of real-life basketball stars. The developers who have previously had huge success with Pokemon Go have turned their hand to the sports world in 2023 with NBA All-World. Aiming to attract basketball fans and casual players to the title, the game focuses on adding new stars to a team with gameplay based on quick mini-games rather than full-court matches. There are various modes that players can compete in to earn rewards to help upgrade superstars in NBA All-World including Rule The Court.
Players' main objective in NBA All-World is to find stars to add to their team by traveling in the real world, in the same way, players catch Pokemon in Pokemon Go. Once a new NBA star is found, players need to beat them in a mini-game, such as scoring the most points in 45 seconds,...

M. Night Shyamalan meets two Philadelphia 76ers in a bizarre Knock at the Cabin crossover video. Based on the 2018 novel The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul G. “I gave up 4 years, 100-something million deciding to be unvaccinated,” said Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving said at the team’s press day yesterday. “That was the decision, it was: contract [and] get vaccinated or be unvaccinated and there’s a level of uncertainty of your future — whether you’re going to be in this league, whether you’re going to be on this team — for this decision.”
Irving refused to be vaccinated last season, even as New York City’s mandate required it for Brooklyn Nets home games. That kept him out of Brooklyn’s rotation for much of the season, until the requirement was lifted in March.
Irving indicated that the decision was not an easy one.
“I had to deal with that real life circumstance of losing my job while trying to secure my future for myself and my family.”

NBA commissioner Adam Silver criticized the New York City mandate that prevents unvaccinated athletes on area teams — specifically the Brooklyn Nets’ Kyrie Irving — from playing in home games, yet allows unvaccinated players on visiting teams to take the court at the city’s arenas.
“This law in New York, the oddity of it to me is that it only applies to home players,” Silver told ESPN’s Get Up on Wednesday. “I think if ultimately that rule is about protecting people who are in the arena, it just doesn’t...

Updated: New York Nets superstar Kyrie Irving spoke to the media today for the first time since it would be announced he would rejoin the team, which benched him in October after he refused to get a Covid vaccination, which is required for home games under New York City guidelines. Irving could have played away games in cities that didn’t have such a mandate.
Irving said he understood the team’s decision and “respected it” after he looked at it from their perspective.
“I knew the consequences,” he said. “I wasn’t prepared for them by any stretch of the imagination.” He also said he was grateful to be able to return, even in the limited capacity of playing only road games.

In 2020, the NBA and the NHL were the most assertive major American sports leagues in their efforts to contain the impact of Covid on their seasons. Both leagues employed “bubbles” that sequestered players and employed aggressive testing regimens to continue their seasons. About a year-and-a-half later, their paths have diverged.
Today, NBA commissioner Adam Silver said the league has “no plans” to halt games, despite the lightning-quick spread of the Omicon variant.
“No plans right now to pause the season,” Silver told host Malika Andrews on ESPN’s NBA Today. “We’ve, of course, looked at all the options, but frankly we’re having trouble coming up with what the logic would be behind pausing right now.”
That logic would have to justify losing one of the crown jewels of the league’s yearly TV schedule: Its Christmas Day block of games on ABC.

Battle Of The Platforms, a first-of-its-kind boxing event featuring YouTubers and TikTokers facing off in the ring -- with a headline fight between Austin McBroom and Bryce Hall -- reportedly lost at least $10 million. Now, various participants involved in the venture -- including the aforementioned fighters, producers, and investors -- are seeking to get paid their rightful due.
Billboard reports that the event cost $20 million to produce, but has only brought in between $6.5 million and $10 million in revenues. Accordingly, investors (including NBA star James Harden), producers, and 15 boxers have yet to be compensated. Hall, for his part, was promised $5 million to participate in the fight.

The National Basketball Assn. has postponed tonight’s Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder game, the first of the season for both teams. The Rockets do not have the league-required eight available players because of Covid-19 tests and restrictions.
Three Rockets players had tests that were positive or inconclusive for the coronavirus. Four other players are quarantined under the contact tracing protocol, and Chris Clemons is injured.
The postponement will likely not be the only game adjustment to come on the schedule. The league has already started later than usual and cut back on the number of games. It has also mandated that no fans are allowed to attend.
However, it is not isolating teams in a bubble, as it did for the playoffs in Orlando. That means players and staff run the risk of exposure even under the best of precautions.
Daily testing and severe contact tracing are in line.
