Midnight Beast react to YouTube comments: 'You look like Jessica Alba'
The YouTube comment is a perplexing, but sometimes amusing, response aimed at some of pop culture's shiniest stars.

Digital Spy caught up with The Midnight Beast to see what they made of some of the quips left by fans and haters on their videos, with some interesting results...

Youtube comment: 'Do you think it's acceptable to call this music or entertainment or anything?'

Ash: "Oh definitely, I'd like to see what they come up with. Yeah of course it is but it's a niche sort of thing for a niche sort of person."

Stefan: "I think it's atrocious. I think it's bad, it should be banned and it should've stopped a long time ago. I would call it a joke that's gone too far."

YouTube comment: 'Is it weird that Ashley actually looks like Jessica Alba?'

Ash: "Sorry?!"

Stefan: "Yeah 'cause the joke's meant to be that he doesn't but he actually does.

Midnight Beast launch new album Shtick Heads in London - watch now
Midnight Beast will launch their new album in London tonight (June 2) and you can watch it live, here on Digital Spy.

The band will take to the stage from 8.30pm (BST) at the YouTube Space at Google HQ to celebrate the release of Shtick Heads.

The show will include live performances and skits, following the success of their second television series on E4.

Midnight Beast's satirical hip-hop videos on YouTube have amassed them over 65.4 million views so far, with Shtick Heads expected to expand that appeal even further.

Consisting of Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely and Ashley Horne, Midnight Beast recently secured three comedy shorts for Comedy Central in the Us.

The band's new album Shtick Heads is out now.

Comedy Central‘s Cc: Studios — the in-house creative initiative for the development of original digital comedy — today unveiled a development slate of six series greenlights and three series renewals. The Midnight Beast have promised that their new E4 comedy series will be full of nudity, "eightsomes" and "a lot of crazy things". The musical comedy group - individually known as Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely and Ashley Horne - said that they were perfectly happy eating dog food and embarrassing themselves for the cameras.

The Midnight Beast (2012)
Online sensation The Midnight Beast will be performing live on E4 tonight (June 28) and could be doing it naked if their fans campaign hard enough. The humour band - individually known as Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely and Ashley Horne - will appear on the channel and YouTube at 10pm to launch their self-titled comedy series, which premieres on July 5.
