Mumbai, March 25 (Ians) Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma's comedy chat show The Kapil Sharma Show, which went off air, is all set to come back with a new season.

As the host of the show, Kapil says that he plans to add new people to the creative team.

The show already stars Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar and Archana Puran Singh. More actors and writers are expected to feature in the upcoming season.

Television actress Sumona Chakravarti has expressed her disappointment over people not taking small screen actors seriously and comparing them to film stars.

Sumona, who is known for shows like "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain", "The Kapil Sharma Show" and "Jamai Raja" on Saturday posted a lengthy note on social media, pointing out the discrimination prevailing in Hindi showbiz against TV actors.

"From stylists saying that designers don't want to give their clothes to TV actors... to type casting us... to not even giving us the opportunity or considering us for film auditions and now for web shows. TV actors being pitted against unsuccessful film actors or just simply the ones who have played small character roles," Sumona wrote in the note.

Mumbai, June 19: "Comedy Nights with Kapil" includes performance and interaction with the live audience, which makes it a right amalgamation of reality and fiction, says TV actress Sumona Chakravarti.

Produced by comedian Kapil Sharma, the show that will go on air June 22 on Colors, and it will feature the actress in an important role.
