Big Brother Celebrity All-Stars Edition Might Air Due To Writers’ Strike
Image
The Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike might be a good thing for fans of Big Brother, as CBS is considering adding a Celebrity All-Stars season to its lineup. Why Celebrity Big Brother Is More Entertaining Than A Regular Season
Image
Although there is nothing like a traditional Big Brother season, many times, Celebrity Big Brother installments tend to offer more entertainment value. While Big Brother is approaching season 25, there have only been three CBB seasons over the years. The last installment of the show took place in the winter of 2022. Although the overall format of the celebrity rendition of the show has always been the same as that of a regular Bb season, the two versions of the competition series are very different.

The most recent Celebrity Big Brother season took place last winter, during which UFC fighter Miesha Tate took home the win. Despite being much shorter than a regular season, Celebrity Big Brother season 3 was still full of drama. Miesha, along with her best ally in the game, Todrick Hall, got backlash. This happened because of some comments that they each made inside the house, which were aimed...

Celebrity Big Brother: Why Todrick Has Been Exposed & Canceled By Fans
Image
According to fans, Todrick Hall became the official Celebrity Big Brother 3 villain, due to several things he said and did over the course of the season. Singer, songwriter, and YouTube star Todrick has always been a controversial figure, but chose to join the show's third installment in an attempt to show a different side of himself. Alas, as the season progressed, viewers started turning on Todrick. He started to engage in a few problematic situations within the game.

Now that the show has wrapped, Todrick has continued to be a catalyst for controversy. Most recently, it was announced that Celebrity Big Brother season 3 celeb Todrick would star in a LGBTQ+ reality show called The Real Friends of WeHo. The new series airs after RuPaul's Drag Race on MTV. However, its ratings weren't as high as Todrick had hoped. When Todrick expressed disappointment over the lack of viewership, he was called...

Signs That A New Season Of Celebrity Big Brother Is Coming Soon
Image
Although it has not yet been confirmed, there are signs that have led to speculation of Celebrity Big Brother season 4 coming soon. Similar to a regular Big Brother season, the show consists of all the same power, lies, and manipulation. However, it all unfolds in a shorter amount of time. Celebrity Big Brother season 1 took place in 2018, and since then, two other groups of celebrities have given the popular competition series a try.

Celebrity Big Brother season 3 took place in February 2022, and UFC champ Miesha Tate took home the win for the season. Unfortunately, there was a lot of drama that unfolded throughout the season involving both Miesha and her closest ally Todrick Hall. Upon returning to the real world, the duo was shocked to learn that many viewers were not in support of their gameplay or the way they acted inside the house. While a majority of the drama involved Todrick more than Miesha,...

Best American Idol Performances That People Forgot
Image
There have been hundreds of performances throughout American Idol's long history, and while many have gone down in reality television history for good and bad reasons, other standout covers have faded into the background. While American Idol wasn't the first singing competition to hit the United States, it quickly captivated viewers throughout the 2000s. Alongside iconic judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson, early seasons of American Idol helped shape competitions into what they are today, and in 2023 terms, provided a cultural reset.

Although the series experienced a brief hiatus from 2016 to 2018, American Idol season 20 concluded last May, with American Idol season 21 set to premiere on February 19. From explosive vocals to standout personalities, dozens of performances on American Idol have gotten better over time. Unfortunately, because there's been so many contestants that have advanced to Hollywood, performances that went down in history more than a decade ago have become blips on fans' radars.

Why Celebrity Big Brother Should Be Replaced By Shortened Legends Season
Image
A fourth season of Celebrity Big Brother has not been announced yet, but perhaps the franchise should take a different direction and give fans a shortened Big Brother legends season instead. Celebrity Big Brother is a shorter, fast-paced version of the classic game, which casts celebrities as the houseguests. Rather than the classic three-month game, the celebrity version is only one month, and is much less of a commitment for the contestants. So far, the Celebrity Big Brother winners were Marissa Jaret Winokur (season 1), Tamar Braxton (season 2), and Miesha Tate (season 3).

Although Celebrity Big Brother is shorter than the regular game, it still brings all the excitement. Celebrity Big Brother season 3 was one of the most dramatic of them all, as Todrick Hall became a villain in the house. His antics, including his mistreatment of Shanna Moakler, were some of the most buzzed about on social media. As the Celebrity...

‘Ru Paul’s Drag Race 15×04’ Review
Image
After two very strangely edited hour-long premiere episode, the Drag Race fandom were excited to see the newest bunch of queens try and run the gauntlet. However, there was immense outrage when people realised that instead of the just over hour-long episodes we would simply getting forty-five-minute specials which for many did not satisfy the Drag Race hole in our hearts. The reason for this shorter episode format is due to the premier of the brand new reality TV show The Real Friends of We-Ho being shown after Drag Race but strangely before Untucked airs. The cast of this show is headlined by none other than occasional drag race choreographer, singer and queer icon Todrick Hall. Generally speaking, I would say that I am somewhat of a super fan of Todrick Hall and his flamboyant/club anthems (in fact if you ever go to a nightclub with me I will...

Why RuPaul's Drag Race Fans Are Slamming The Real Friends Of WeHo
Image
The Real Friends of WeHo premiered on January 20 as MTV's newest venture, but while the series was created to promote inclusivity, RuPaul's Drag Race fans (and the LGBTQ+ community) are less than impressed. When it comes to reality television, MTV has been a pioneer for over 30 years. The Real World became a global phenomenon in the early 1990s, for instance, while True Life showcased hundreds of gritty, emotional, and controversial subjects between 1998 and 2017. Although it took almost ten years and 14 seasons to secure, there was a sense of excitement when MTV acquired the rights to RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 from VH1, ahead of its January 6 premiere.

While Ts Madison joined Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews and RuPaul's Drag Race creator RuPaul on the coveted judging panel, six prominent members of the Lgtbq+ community signed on for The Real Friends of WeHo. In addition to singer and choreographer Todrick Hall,...

‘The Real Friends of Weho’ Review: A Show We Don’t Need About People We Don’t Need to See More Of
Brad Goreski at an event for Burlesque (2010)
“We’re breaking ground here,” Brad Goreski declares minutes into the series premiere of MTV’s newest unscripted drama, “The Real Friends of Weho.”

We’ve seen Goreski on our TV screens for 15 years now, from his early days as Rachel Zoe’s assistant to his stints on “Fashion Police” and “Canada’s Drag Race.” He’s still styling his celebrity clients. He’s still happily married to Gary Janetti. He has a beautiful home. All wonderful things, but not groundbreaking.

“My ideal date night is pizza on Sunday,” he admits. Same, Brad, same. So why do we need to see more?

Goreski’s role appears to be the anchor for the six “Real Friends,” a group of Wehovians that includes performer Todrick Hall, actor Curtis Hamilton, CEO of Buttah Skincare Dorión Renaud, TV host Jaymes Vaughan and social media personality Joey Zauzig.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’: MTV Cuts Episodes To One Hour In Season 15
Image
Exclusive: RuPaul’s Drag Race is going back to airing 60-minute episodes following the MTV show’s “supersized” two-episode premiere on January 6 at 8 p.m. Episodes of the hit reality competition series were 90 minutes from Season 10 to Season 14.

The news follows the announcement of MTV’s newest series The Real Friends of WeHo premiering on January 20 at 9 p.m. following RuPaul’s Drag Race.
