Cillian Murphy’s acting career has spanned nearly three decades and is still going strong. Over these years, he has played pretty much everything, from being a villain to being the Father of the Atomic Bomb in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer; he has built a career as diverse as it could be.

Surprisingly, fans are already thrilled as they get their hands on the first look of the movie, as Murphy adds depth with a single look.

Since she was a kid, Simbiatu Ajikawo has had a low tolerance for disloyalty. Her real breakthrough as Little Simz came much later, with 2018’s Grey Area, which was nominated for the U.K.’s prestigious Mercury Prize, then 2021’s Sometimes I Might Be Introvert,...

Here's why you should be watching Dope Thief on Apple TV+ (Review)
Image
Adapted from a novel by the same name, Dope Thief is a new crime drama from Apple TV+ that premiered with the first two episodes. The show promises all the creative violence an adrenaline junkie could desire, and an emotional core which will resonate with even the most unsentimental viewers. The show grapples with complex family dynamics, addiction, the prison system, and youth drug culture, all in one poignant slurry of pulpy gangbusters and missed phone calls. With all that being said, is the series worth watching?

Our story opens on two best friends in Philly, prepping for a sting in a van outside a meth house. They don their DEA jackets and cock their guns, Manny with a shotgun and Ray with a pistol. They charge the house from either end and make out with the goods. Only one snag: they're not real DEA, and they just robbed a...

Bel-Air Season 3 Soundtrack Guide: Every Song & When They Play
Image
Warning! This article contains Spoilers for Bel-Air season 3.

The reimagined version of the 1990s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Bel-Air, has a notable, diverse soundtrack that adds to the story, characters, and atmosphere. Bel-Air takes the characters viewers know and love from the Will Smith original series and gives them a twist in a darker, grittier, more dramatic version of Fresh Prince. Both shows have the same basic premise, but Bel-Air made multiple changes to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Bel-Air season 3 follows Will, Carlton, the rest of the Banks family, and their friends as they go on their first summer vacation since Will moved to Bel Air. This provides new energy, as the characters have a fun summer away from school, but that doesnt mean Bel-Air season 3 is without drama. Bel-Air season 2 ended with the DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith song, Summertime, setting the stage for...

“I’m so honored to be a part of this record with Sampha,” Little Simz said of the collaboration. “He truly is one of the most important voices in music today. We have great musical chemistry and respect of each other’s process.

Glastonbury: Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Sza Go Big as the U.K.’s Crowning Jewel of Music Fests Wraps Up
Image
It was a Glastonbury of old and new — trusted performances from festival legends Coldplay and music veteran Shania Twain, as well as Worthy Farm debuts from Dua Lipa and Sza.

But the U.K.’s most popular music fest draws to a close Monday and 210,000 people will now make their way home after five days of surprise guest stars, wacky sets and a European Championship soccer match that no one could bear to miss.

Houdini singer Dua Lipa kicked off the headline performances on the main Pyramid stage Friday night as she thanked fans for “making my dreams come true.” It was a sturdy and seamless gig from the British pop star who got to enjoy the rest of the festival with the nerves over and done with. She pleased fans by bringing out Tame Impala star Kevin Parker for the duo’s rendition of “The Less I Know the Better.

Coldplay’s Record-Breaking Glastonbury Headlining Set Was Brilliant and Bizarre at Once
Image
Coldplay’s status as the Glastonbury house band has almost become the butt of a joke since they first headlined at Worthy Farm back in 2002. This year, they become the first act ever to top the bill here five times, and bring a Saturday night show that is mesmerising at its best but often simultaneously head scratching.

Playing to what will undoubtedly be by far the biggest crowd of the weekend, the band launch straight into a phenomenal first 45 minutes that reminds everyone why they’re the only band to headline here this many times.

Watch Michael J. Fox Join Coldplay on Guitar at Glastonbury
Image
Coldplay invited Michael J. Fox to join them on stage during their headlining set at Glastonbury Festival in England on Saturday.

To introduce the surprise guest, frontman Chris Martin took to his guitar and sang a little intro that elicited cheers from the crowd. “Here’s another legendary Michael. One who just totally rocks, with his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff,” he sang, referencing Back to the Future where Fox’s character Marty McFly covered Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode.” (Fox has also performed the song...

Michael J. Fox Plays Guitar with Coldplay at Glastonbury: Watch
Image
Coldplay’s headlining performance at Glastonbury on Saturday night featured a number of special guests, but one individual’s presence was particularly significant: Michael J. Fox.

The film and television icon, who has battled Parkinson’s disease since 1991, joined the band midway through their performance of “Humankind.” After serenading Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis, frontman Chris Martin turned his attention to “another legendary Michael.” Martin continued his singsong introduction by describing the Back to the Future star as the “one who just totally rocks, with his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff… Ladies and gentleman, please welcome Michael J.Fox!”

Fox took the stage in a wheelchair and played guitar along with the rest of Coldplay. He then stuck around for “Fix You.”

“The main reason we’re in a band is because of Back to the Future,” Martin said following the performance. “So thank you to Michael, our hero.

“I’ve been broken and then put back together so many times,” BTS leader Rm told the fashion brand 032c in his final interview before enlisting in the Korean military last year. “I realized that the person I think I am doesn’t really exist.” On his heady second solo album, Rm digs into that existential dilemma, interrogating the relationship between his world-conquering presented self and the “ordinary young man named Kim Namjoon” that he would be if he hadn’t taken the pop-star path.

‘Oppenheimer,’ ‘Barry,’ More Win at the 2024 ASC Awards
Image
“Oppenheimer” cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema won Feature Film at the 38th ASC Awards, March 3 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Oscar favorite beat the other four Oscar nominees: “Killers of the Flower Moon,” “Maestro,” Poor Things,” and “El Conde”.

This marked van Hoytema’s first ASC win after three nominations (including “Dunkirk” and “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”) and positions the Dutch-Swedish cinematographer for his first Oscar win. Significantly, “Oppenheimer” represents the culmination of his experimental IMAX collaboration with director Christopher Nolan. The duo achieved a new kind of intimate spectacle with this psychological thriller about physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer (Best Actor nominee Cillian Murphy), the “father of the atomic bomb.” Van Hoytema used the large-format IMAX camera to explore the landscape of faces; namely, Oppenheimer’s in color from his perspective and Salieri-like adversary Admiral Lewis Strauss’ (Best Supporting Actor nominee Robert Downey Jr.) in black-and-white from his.

‘Deadpool 3’ Trailer Just Revealed the Movie’s Main Villain – Cassandra Nova
Image
‘Deadpool 3’ teaser trailer just got released during the Superbowl as was predicted and while we are trying to make sense of the first impressions of what appears to be the phenomenal next installment in the MCU, the teaser trailer also showed as a glimpse into what appears the movie’s main villain, Cassandra Nova.

That Cassandra Nova will be the villain of the movie was rumored back in August 2023, something that we’ve reported on previously, but we also speculated that due to this Charles Xavier might have a role in the movie as well. For those of you unaware of who Cassandra is, she has a pretty gruesome and heartbreaking backstory. Cassandra was Xavier’s twin while both were gestation in the womb. Xavier recognized Cassandra as being the so-called “Mummudrai” by the Shi’ar, an equal and opposite spirit of Professor Charles Xavier. Due to Xavier’s genetic potential,...
