Michael Valinsky(I)

Ever since Michael Valinsky was young, he was playing with video cameras and watching endless movies on the family's Betamax. He was raised in a small town in Connecticut in the 1980's. After college, he moved to New York City, where he worked for trade magazines about video production and began making short films with friends. In early 2014, he relocated to Los Angeles and started collaborating with a wide net of actors and cinematographers. His latest film, entitled Hollywood, is about an up-and-coming screenwriter who makes a high-stakes deal with a powerful producer, which won the Audience Award at The Valley Film Festival in October 2017. Currently, he's working on short experimental films and is in development on his first feature.
