Cheryl Martinez(I)

International EDM Vocalist, Dancer & Actress CheRyl (pronounced Che-Real) was born Cheryl Martinez on October 13th in Long Island, New York. Her diverse heritage includes Puerto Rican, Spanish, Italian, and Irish roots. At the tender age of 3, CheRyl took her first dance class, and never looked back. Her love for dance grew into a true passion for performing. As she got older CheRyl added private vocal lessons and acting workshops to her already intense study of the art of dance. Furthering her education brought CheRyl to the prestigious Binghamton University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. Choosing a major was easy since she loves to write her own music. In 2007 she graduated with honors in Comparative Literature while minoring in Theatre & Dance and receiving her Group Exercise Aerobics Certification by AFAA. She also served on the Executive Board of the International Sorority Alpha Phi, while working as a choreographer for the University & at local dance studios.

After college CheRyl headed to New York City to pursue her career in the entertainment industry. Once arriving, CheRyl dove into the hectic NY scene taking advantage of any chance she could get to be on stage or in front of the camera.

CheRyl has accumulated numerous credits in Major Hollywood Feature Films including El Cantante & Spiderman 3. She has been tapped by the industry's biggest artists to showcase her talents in music videos like Beyonce's "If I Were A Boy" & G-Unit's "Rider Part 2". You've seen her on the cover and featured in countless magazines like The Urban Latino Music Magazine "In The House" & German Music Magazine "Entertaim.net". CheRyl has done television & radio interviews all over the world including La Fiesta 98.5FM in New York & Mix Madrid 97.4FM in Spain. Some of CheRyl's most recognizable live performances include the National Puerto Rican, Dominican, & Gay Pride Parades; Festival Hip-Hop Latino; Festival de Danza; Nuyorican Café; MMA Spain; and The NYC Marathon.

CheRyl released her debut album on Memorial Day in 2011 being that one of her singles is a tribute to the soldiers.
