It’s looking like another surgical summer, as Pusha T has dissed Travis Scott on Clipse’s new song “So Be It.” The track is the latest preview of Clipse’s upcoming reunion album, Let God Sort Em Out. Stream it below.
“So Be It” is anchored by a sinister, Middle Eastern-inspired string sample and features Pusha T and Malice’s signature tales of drug dealing and exclusive wealth — until the final verse, when Push takes aim at his former Good Music labelmate, Travis Scott.

“You cried in front of me, you died in front of me,” Push raps. “Calabasas took your bitch and your pride in front of me/ Heard Utopia had moved right up the street/ And her lip gloss was poppin’, she ain’t need you to eat.”

Exclusive: Utopia has acquired North American rights to Idiotka, the fashion comedy that premiered at this year’s SXSW and stars Anna Baryshnikov, Camila Mendes, Julia Fox, Owen Thiele, Benito Skinner, Gabbriette and Saweetie. Nastasya Popov directed the pic and penned the script.
“I’ve long admired Utopia’s eye for vibrant, distinctive storytelling, and I’m overjoyed to be joining the family,” said Popov. “We’re thrilled that audiences will get the chance to experience this wild ride of a comedy in a packed theater — and we guarantee it’ll be fun for the whole family, so bring everyone from your stylish grandmother to your chronically online little brother along.”
The film follows Baryshnikov as Margarita, an ambitious fashion designer who lives in a chaotic West Hollywood apartment with her Russian-Jewish family and enters a reality TV competition show called Slay, Serve, Survive in a desperate cash grab.

One of the biggest appeals of Yu-Gi-Oh!are the monsters that duelists use in each of the anime. Naturally, the monsters with the best designs are the ones that serve as Ace Monsters, the signature cards of duelists. Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes White Dragon began this trend, and they've had many legendary successors.
Ace Monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh! say a lot about the duelists who use them, and some have far cooler designs than others. Many of those with the greatest designs are those that belong to certain popular groups, like the Egyptian God Cards and the Signer Dragons. Each installment in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime franchise also has its own unique aesthetic, and some of these enable stronger and more memorable designs than others.

It’s the year of the medical procedural! Following the debuts of ABC’s Doctor Odyssey, Fox’s Doc, Max’s The Pitt, NBC’s Brilliant Minds and CBS’ Watson, Netflix will scrub in for rounds with Pulse on Thursday, April 3.
The 10-episode drama — which hails from executive producer Zoe Robyn (Hawaii Five-0, The Equalizer), who will serve as co-showrunner alongside fellow EP Carlton Cuse (Lost, Jack Ryan) — follows the staff of Miami’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Center as they navigate medical emergencies. When Squid Game absolutely exploded in popularity upon its release in 2021, you may recall rumours that David Fincher was going to be working on a US version of the series. Well, according to The Playlist, not only is the project still in development, but Fincher may have even put the Chinatown prequel series on the back burner to focus on Squid Game.
The report states that Fincher has been “quietly working” on Squid Game for the last two years and has even tapped Dennis Kelly (Utopia) to write the project. The report notes that it’s “unclear” where the Squid Game remake is at, but it could be Fincher’s next directing project, considering how he pivoted away from Chinatown, which has all its episodes written.

On his fourth studio album, Utopia, Travis Scott unleashes a familiar bag of tricks: seemingly endless beat switch-ups, seemingly for pure showmanship’s sake; a who’s-who of guests, ranging here from Dave Chappelle to James Blake; and an eclectic sonic palette courtesy of the biggest producers working today. Of course, the Houston rapper himself serves as the ringleader to the unfurling chaos, with his trademark bleary vocals—usually slathered in an excessive amount of Auto-Tune—zigzagging across each track.
The album operates less as a cohesive body of work and more as a series of show-stopping set pieces, each one seeking to out-do the last. By the time you get to “Telekinesis,” Utopia’s operatic penultimate track, it feels like the album has already reached at least three different climaxes. Simply put, Scott is in the business of engineering spectacles.

The 2023 Cannes Market is behind us, and like clockwork, Neon managed to buy the winner of the Palme d’Or for the fourth straight year, Justine Triet’s “Anatomy of a Fall.”
But that wasn’t the only major sale. This year’s Marché du Film netted major domestic deals for some of the buzziest competition titles such as Todd Haynes’ “May December” and Aki Kaurismäki’s “Fallen Leaves,” as well as hot packages like “Paddington 3.” But uncertainty over the writers strike still loomed large, and distributors favored completed projects over packages.
Below are some of the deals we’ve tracked out of Cannes so far, and we’ll be updating this space with more sales as they come in.
Title: “Anselm”
Section: Special Screenings
Distributor: Sideshow and Janus Films
Wim Wenders had not one but two separate films play at this year’s Cannes, and now each have found a home.

Sideshow and Janus Films have picked up the North American rights to “Afire,” which won the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize at Berlinale 2023. A theatrical release is planned for Summer 2023.
From writer-director Christian Petzold, the film follows four young people who convene at a holiday house by the Baltic Sea. Plagued by drought, the surrounding landscape soon begets fires, while inside the house emotions heat up: happiness, lust, love, along with jealousies, resentments and tensions.
The film stars Thomas Schubert, Paula Beer, Langston Uibel, Enno Trebs and Matthias Brandt. Producers are Florian Koerner von Gustorf, Michael Weber, and Anton Kaiser.

Denmark has selected Ali Abbasi’s Iran-set serial killer thriller Holy Spider as its official contender for the 2023 Academy Awards in the best international feature category.
The film is inspired by the true story of a serial killer who murdered sex workers in the streets of Mashhad, Iran’s holiest city, from 2000-2001. When his crimes came to light, some among Iran’s extreme religious right defended his acts as an attempt to purge the city of sin. Abassi’s film follows the case through the eyes of a female journalist, played by Zar Amir Ebrahimi, who descends into the dark underworld of Mashhad to investigate the murders.
Holy Spider premiered in Cannes this year, where Ebrahimi won best actress honors. Conservatives and state-aligned media inside Iran have condemned the film, with the Ministry of Culture calling Holy Spider “fake, hateful and disgusting.
