A Ghostly Vision Appears in this Preview for The Periphery
What happens after a Near Death Experience? In director Tom Lewis' The Periphery, a ghost returns from the other side. The Periphery is a psychological horror title, which will have its premiere June 3rd, 2014, at the Dances with Films festival. This indie horror title stars Nick Clark (The Girls Guide to Depravity), Andrew Olson (1000 Ways to Die) and Kristen StephensonPino. A trailer and movie poster for the feature are hosted here. For more on the story, The Periphery begins with an Nde and ends with the character Cassie Stevens (StephensonPino). Cassie is dealing with head trauma, while seeing strange visions. A ghost appears out of the corner of Cassie's eye, but what is this vision? Cassie must seek help, or lose any sense of sanity. The World Premiere for The Periphery will take place in Hollywood, California. Here, the film will play at the Tcl Chinese Theatre, at 9:00pm.

In case you're wondering what a periphery is, think of it as an area usually home to what you see with your peripheral vision. If you don't know what peripheral vision is then you probably get into lots of accidents and have a habit of bumping into stuff. In any event it's also the new home for horror!

Wipe Away Your Tears - Official Trailer and DVD Artwork Unveiled for The Crying Dead
Busted Knuckle Productions and Viva Pictures have released the official trailer and DVD artwork for their paranormal thriller The Crying Dead, and of course we have them both here!

From the Press Release:

Production on The Crying Dead, directed by Hunter G. Williams and co-written by Williams and Scott Michael Campbell, wrapped in 2012 outside of Los Angeles, California. This horror title focuses on six filmmakers who hope to make it big in the paranormal reality show market. Instead, they find the surprise of their lives!

Since completion, the film has undergone several edits and enhancements to heighten its many ghostly thrills. And now Viva Pictures, along with Busted Knuckle Productions, announces that The Crying Dead will release on DVD September 17, 2013.

Screaming in Fear with The Whispering Dead: A Movie Review
*there are minor spoilers here. Director/writer: Hunter G. Williams. Writers: Scott Michael Campbell and Hunter G. Williams. Cast: Chris Hayes, Jeff Stearns, Becka Adams, Angelina Lyubomirova, Callie Cameron, Kelsi Cullimore, Andrew Olson and Brooke Johnson. The Whispering Dead is a paranormal piece that deals with a haunted hospital in Northern California. The Whispering Dead will be the first film to be released by production house Busted Knuckle Productions and the film offers an enjoyable ghostly time. The acting from the small cast is well done. As well, the hauntings are all filmed expertly with the help of infrared cameras. Although there is no music throughout, The Whispering Dead is a compelling supernatural thriller. The film begins in Los Angeles. Six filmmakers are getting set to investigate rumours of burnings, cannibalism, suicide and murder at the nearby Edinburgh Hospital. They head up to the location, while talking about some of the building's past.
