Elsa Diringer, born in Strasbourg, France in 1982, grew up in Montpelier and earned her master's degree at the University of Paris. she started her Cinema career as a sound assistant for various directors, and before she finally directed the first feature film that was her own, she made her mark directing several shorts for the Tribudom collective, a group that works with residents of sensitive neighborhoods on the Northeast outskirts of Paris.
