A Theater lover, actress Gina Marie is thrilled to be invited by the La Jolla Playhouse
to workshop Gregg Mozgala & AA.Brenner's new script for their collaboration with National Disability Theater on their Premier production.
When a twist of fate placed a teen-aged ballerina in a wheelchair
"Miss Gina" as her students called her, began to work around the limitations
of her injury with faith and a positive outlook. In 2014 Gina made history
as the 1st wheelchair model in STYLE Fashion Week. Focused on exploring
new forms of creative expression which have included: Voice-Over Acting,
Video Production, volunteering with a Music therapy program & Wheelchair Dancing,
Gina has successfully redefined herself.
Life experience has taught Gina Marie that we can celebrate the
moments, rise above challenges & embrace life with joy. She hopes her
work encourages others to do the same!
