Puja Banerjee is an Indian TV and film actress who has appeared in several TV serials and Hindi and Bengali films. She is also known as Pooja Bose.
She studied at St. Paul's Mission School Kolkata and graduated from Scottish Church College, Kolkata. When she was 15 years old, Banerjee appeared in a small role in Escape from Taliban (2003).
She made her debut as an actress in the TV serial Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki (2008) and was also a part of Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna (2008).
Banerjee was next seen in Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev (2011) and has appeared on Comedy Nights with Kapil (2013). She has also been a part of Razia Sultan (2015) and Comedy Nights Bachao (2015) as a contestant.
Banerjee next appeared in Bigg Boss Bangla (2013), Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (2008) and Dev (2017). She has also appeared as a contestant in Khatra Khatra Khatra (2019), Vish (2019) and Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishnodevi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki (2019).
Banerjee's acting debut in films was in Veedu Theda (2011). In 2012, she also appeared in the Bengali movie Macho Mustanaa (2012) and in Rocky (2013).
Banerjee has appeared in several Bengali movies like Loveria (2013), Oh! Henry (2013), 3 Patti (2014), and Hoichoi Unlimited (2018).
She has also been a part of Hindi movies like Rajdhani Express (2013), Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013), Great Grand Masti (2016), and made a special appearance in a song, 'Ban Dance mei Kutta' in the movie 3 Dev.
In 2017, she was awarded the best actress at the 10th Boroplus Gold Awards. Banerjee has appeared in the web series Anupama: Namaste America (2022).
Banerjee married Kunal Verma in 2020. The couple has a son named Krishiv.
