Matthew Oquendo has been writing and directing films since the age of 15. An avid movie fan, half of his film education was spent in movie theaters and repeated home viewings. The other half from trial and error in making his own films.
Matthew is the series creator of 'Metro' the award-winning anthology of short stories connective via trains and buses in LA County. 'Metro' has screened globally in South Korea, Colombia, Philippines, as well as at AFI and UCLA, where it had its first season premiere in 2019.
