TollywoodThe community is unhappy over the way they were portrayed in the Dhanush starrer 'Vada Chennai'.Digital NativeDirector Suseenthiran is currently shooting for his next film Champion, a sports-based film, which went on to the floors a few months back with Roshan as the lead actor. According to a report by DTnext, Suseenthiran was in for a shock when he and his team were denied entry into the Kasimedu harbour area for shooting the film. The shooting of this film is almost over with just the patchwork remaining and the team was at Kasimedu to complete it. However, the fisherfolk in the area did not allow them to enter in protest. Suseenthiran’s 'Kennedy Club' Chinese dubbing rights sold
KollywoodThe film has veteran director Bharathiraja in the lead role and teaming up with him is another director and actor Sasikumar. Digital NativeDirector Suseenthiran is known for directing different genre of films but his forte seems to be sports-based dramas. Interestingly, he made his debut with Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu, a film on Kabbadi. He is currently directing a series of films including Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu, Champion, Angelina and Kennedy Club. Well, it is Kennedy Club that is in the news now. Reports are that the Chinese dubbing rights of this sports drama have been won for a whopping Rs 2 crore. Indian films do find patronage in the Chinese film market but a Tamil movie making it to the list is surprising and exciting. The film has veteran director Bharathiraja in the lead role and teaming up with him is another director and actor Sasikumar. The cast also includes Samuthirakani in a pivotal role.

Badlapur Boys gives Kabbadi to the limelight!
Sports-based films have always caught Bollywood’s fancy. From Lagaan to Chak De India to Paan Singh Tomar to Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to Mary Kom, copious films highlighting different types of games and/or sports have been made and received overwhelming response too. Now, gear up for yet another sports-driven film called Badlapur Boys, which is based on Kabbadi.

What is interesting is all this while Bollywood played around international games, for the first time ever we will witness the domestic game, Kabbadi being showcased on big screen. Actor Annu Kapoor plays the role of a Kabaddi coach in the film.

Produced by Karrm movies and directed by Shailesh Verma, Badlapur Boys stars Nishshan, Saranya Mohan, Annu Kapoor, Shashank Udapurkar, Puja Gupta, Anupam Maanav, Kishori Shahane, Mazhar Khan, Ankit Sharma, Vineet, and Aman Verma in the lead roles.

Director Jayam Raja promised that he is preparing a treat for Vijay's fans and he kept his word with 'Velayudham', an out and out a Vijay show.

The fast-paced actioner starts with journalist Bharathi (Genelia D'Souza) losing her colleagues and becoming the target of powerful people after her sting operation to expose a group.

To end the menace, she creates an imaginary character called Velayudham.
