Jakob is a Canadian comedy writer, director, and producer. As co-creator of the Toronto sketch comedy duo Fun Uncle, Jakob wrote, directed, and edited dozens of sketches; which have been featured on Funny or Die, and broadcast on CBC. Jakob's short films have played in various festivals; including Fantasia and Toronto After Dark. Jakob's shorts have won him best film, and best writing awards. His debut feature film screenplay Vampire Zombies... from Space! is slated for a festival release later this year.
In addition to writing, directing and producing comedy, Jakob is a producer of reality television; largely for the Paramount / MTV staple The Challenge, and the Lisa Vanderpump helmed Vanderpump Villa. Jakob has also served various crew positions on series including Survivor, Big Brother Canada, and Nathan for You.
