In 2024, Ego Mikitas landed his biggest role to date, with a recurring role on the Jeff Bridges starring FOX series "The Old Man". He has guest-starred on numerous television shows including "The Blacklist", "Legends of Tomorrow" "Magnum PI", "The OA II", "Shock Docs" and has appeared in over 100 television and film projects. A Greek/Russian by descent, Ego is an actor/producer and stage combat performer, who was born and raised in Soviet Union. After the high school he served in the Army as a special forces' sergeant. He also obtained his master's degree as a TV journalist, PhD as a lawyer and created his own theatre "Twins", where he started his own artistic/producing carrier. In Soviet Union, Ego became a producer on numerous shows and theatrical performances until he was forced to leave motherland and raise his four children in New Zealand. In 2015 Ego moved to Bangkok and found fame through acting in the award-winning film "Bad Genius" - named the "Movie of the Year" by Thailand National Film Association. Ego has US Green card, NZ citizenship and Thailand's work permit. Ego is member of SAG and TV academy. He approved as an Emmys' daytime official Judge in 2024. Ego is Bilingual, Bicoastal and Multitalented performer. He is tall, strong, and imposing in a frame, while often called the "Gentle Giant" for his personality and social attitude.
