Alistair Tremps is a writer, editor, and researcher with over two decades of experience in film subtitling, documentary production, and cultural analysis. He is a founding partner of Audiovisual POP, a boutique post-production company based in Mexico, and has supervised subtitling and translation for more than 120 films, collaborating with institutions such as the UCLA Film & Television Archive and the Mexican Film Institute (Imcine).
From 2006 to 2009, he served as associate producer and lead researcher for Perdida, a feature-length documentary exploring the hidden history of Mexican cinema. His work in film is grounded in a broader career dedicated to cross-cultural storytelling, including literary translation, open-source media analysis, and published cultural journalism (Galerie magazine).
