New Teaser Trailer for Wayne Slaten’s Patriot Act
Futuristic Socialist America. Pfft. New teaser trailer for Wayne Slaten’s “Patriot Act”. Looks decent. Low-budget as all get-out, of course. I shall reserve judgement until I see more. Kane is a retired member of The Legion, a disbanded government agency responsible for the extinction of the Dropas, an alien race during the Class Revolution. Set against the backdrop of a future dystopic socialist America in the year 2078, Kane is reluctantly dispatched by The Party to search for a renegade Dropa intent on hunting down the former members of The Legion. Starring James Hong, Richard Grieco and Mayra Leal. Coming in 2013.

Slick Teaser Trailer for Wayne Slaten’s Patriot Act
I’m always down for discovering a new sci-fi movie that I’ve never heard of before. Here’s one: Wayne Slaten’s “Patriot Act”. The teaser doesn’t really give away too much, but here’s a little helpful synopsis to fill in some of the holes: Kane is a retired member of The Legion, a hit squad responsible for the extinction of an alien race. Set in a future communist America, Kane must now hunt a renegade Dropa alien intent on killing the former members of his team. Sounds like fun times. IMDb.com doesn’t list any cast, but you can keep track of the film at its Official Site and Facebook page. It definitely looks like it’s worth following up on. Hopefully we’ll see more in the future.

Futuristic Teaser Trailer for Director Wayne Slaten’s Patriot Act
I’m a sucker for noir-flavored flicks set in sprawling futuristic cities. Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner” and the live-action “Tex Murphy” PC games are to blame for this affliction, though I suppose there are worst cinematic obsessions to have. Director Wayne Slaten seems to have a similar appreciation for the genre, as evidenced by his upcoming sci-fiction endeavor “Patriot Act”. I definitely like what I’ve seen thus far, so here’s hoping the picture gets a release sometime soon. Need a synopsis? I happen to have one: Kane is a retired member of The Legion, a hit squad responsible for the extinction of an alien race. Set in a future communist America, Kane must now hunt a renegade Dropa alien intent on killing the former members of his team. When you’re ready, check out the trailer embedded below...
