Cesar Raphael is an award winning Brazilian film director, actor, writer, producer and entrepreneur; as well as the owner of the production company Lumiart. Cesar initially grabbed the attention of international filmmakers and press with his short film "Piece of Paper".
As a director, he has been awarded 17 times in film festivals around the world for his work on Film and Music Videos. Cesar was also elected by Forbes Brazil as 30 under 30 (one of the 30 most prominent people under 30 in the country). In addition, he was featured in over 100 Brazilian press publications and TV outlets to an audience of 25 million people and had his work screened in over 35 film festivals in 04 continents.
Cesar lived in Los Angeles for close to 7 years, where he was mentored by Academy Award Winning Director Bobby Moresco and studied in schools such as The New York Film Academy and the Lee Strasberg Institute. He was also the Director of several viral dance videos that have reached over 30 million views on You Tube.
Cesar has been awarded by the Governor of his state in Brazil and also gives Acting Workshops, funded by the Brazilian Government.
