    • Alexandra Bianca MacLean is an actor, writer, and stunt performer born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She is of African-Nova Scotian descent. Alexandra is best known as the Co-Creator, Co-Writer, and Associate Producer of Atlantic Canada's first-ever Black family sitcom 0-60 Driving Academy (2025), in which she also stars as Lauren Parsons.

      Alexandra's passion for acting blossomed through elementary school theatre productions, and she began working on television sets at the age of 11. Her recent credits include Lena in Crave's The Trades (2024), Fallon in CBC's Diggstown (2019), performing as Stunt Tanna in the upcoming Hulu TV Mini Series Washington Black (2025), and as Stunt Arch is CBC's Saint-Pierre (2025)

      As a writer, Alexandra first fell in love with the art of poetry, and wrote her first book in high school. Alexandra is a graduate of the BIPOC TV & Film: Writing for Kids TV Intensive led by John May, in which she was 1 of 6 pitch competition winners for her original drama pilot, and was selected to the 2023 WildBrain Writing Summit Initiative. Alexandra was also named as 1 of the Top 25 Pitch Participants of the 2023 Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices Program.

      In addition to her 14 years of film & television experience, Alexandra grew up playing competitive basketball for 14 years, including for team Nova Scotia for 5 years, and in university at St. Francis Xavier University. Alexandra earned a Double Major Degree in Accounting and Management with Dean's List First Class Honours from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2020, where she graduated two semesters early.
