Born in Tokyo to a family of celebrities, Miura's father is actor Tomokazu Miura, his mother is singer and actress Momoe Yamaguchi, his older brother is singer and actor Yutaro Miura and he is also the cousin of Kenta Itogi. Miura is a good swimmer who is trained as a lifeguard. He made the decision to become an actor just before graduating from Juntendo University in Tokyo
