Award-winning composer John Koutselinis, has been writing high quality film scores with notable collaborations comprising of music written for film directors & producers such as Gary Kurtz (Star Wars IV & V) , Brian Presley (The Great Race), Richard Bazley (Disney, Warner Bros) ,Steve Stone (Entity) , Danny Wilson (Nephilim) and Mel Smith (Director of High Hills and Low Lifes, Radioland Murders - Story by George Lucas).
He has composed the musical score for the UK epic feature film 'Katherine of Alexandria'-Lionsgate (Peter O'Toole & Steven Berkoff), 'Nephilim' (John Savage), 'In Extremis' with David O'Hara (The Departed, Harry Potter) and Isabelle Allen (Les Misérables), award winning documentaries and short films including 'The League of Legends' and Aaron Garcia's 'We are Angels' featuring Lisa Brenner (The Patriot) and Courtney Gaines (Children of the Corn & Back to the Future).
Awards and nominations include, 'Best Music' (London Ealing Film Awards) for the film 'Centurion Resurrection' (Richard Bazley - Director, Gary Kurtz - Producer), the 'Outstanding Composer Award' ( LAwebfest ) for the series 'We Are Angles ' two nominations by the 'Jerry Goldsmith Awards'.
Most recently John received the award for 'Best Music Score' by the 'Sydney Independent Film Festival' for his work on the animated film 'Nephilim' (Danny Wilson - Director) and the 'Best Music' award for his work on the film 'In Extremis' (Steve Stone - Director).
His latest works include the music score for the motion picture 'The Great Race' by director Brian Presley, which was performed by members of The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
