Aia Kruse Goenaga, was born on February 24, 1994, in San Sebastian. Her father is American and her mother is from San Sebastian.
She has known the ins and outs of acting since she was very young, as her grandmother, her mother and her cousin were actresses. Since she was a child, she has used a video camera to record everything that interested her. When she had nothing to film, she filmed herself.
As an actress she started at a very young age in the series Goenkale and the film Zorion perfektua (2009). In 2012 she moved to Madrid to study Acting and Performing Arts at the TAI-Rey Juan Carlos University Center. Before graduating in 2017, she lands an important role in the film Handia, le géant d'Altzo (2017), winner of 10 Goyas awards. In Madrid, she studies stage direction at Cuarta Pared and body and mask interpretation with the theater company Kulunka.
In 2017, he founded and directs the association Theatre for Roots, being responsible for the socio-artistic team, where he teaches theater workshops to refugees and unemployed men.
She participates in the TV series Velvet Colección (2017) as Juliet, in La línea invisible (2020) as Teresa. She also appears in the movie Ane (2020). She has acted in plays such as Peter Weiss's Inferno, directed by Julian Fuentes Reta.
In 2019, the city council of Madrid finances her a project written and directed by her: a monologue about migration passing through Mexico and the violation of human rights, which is performed in 5 different districts of Madrid. In 2020 she moves briefly to New York to study film at MononoAware where she shoots and edits a short film in 16mm with the Aaton camera. He studied screenwriting at Larrotxene with Andoni de Carlos and Michel Gaztambide.
She directs the documentary Lux Bona, with the dance company Metamorphosis, which participates in the pitching of the International festival of video-dance Fiver. She directs and writes several music videos for different artists and designs the live music program Atom Sessions. She presents her first short film Ezin at the Márgenes film festival, the short film Guardatiempos that premiere in 2022 at the Círculo de Bellas Artes and her short film Dichoso is nominated at the Notodofilmfest.
