Fernando, an advertising executive, and Cristina. Her father put her in
TV commercials since the age of 2, which, you could say, started off
her acting career.
She graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana where she became an advertising agent.
Rivas has had a successful stage career, appearing in such plays as "Les Miserables", "Chicago" and "Rent."
