Roshaun Akeem Page is an American filmmaker, writer, and producer born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan. His passion for storytelling began in 2003, when he studied theater at Oakland Community College and trained in the Meisner Technique at the Actors Workshop in Royal Oak.
In 2013, Page founded It's a R.A.P. Production, through which he has written, directed, and produced several short films, a feature film, and a TV series. His early work includes Choices, which aired on Comcast Channel 16 and earned Best Screenplay from the Detroit Film Coalition, and Brenda, inspired by the Tupac Shakur song, which has garnered over 100,000 views on YouTube.
He was featured on Detroit Public Television's Metro Arts Detroit in 2015, where he discussed his creative influences and showcased selections of his work.
Page made his feature directorial debut with Disruption, which he also wrote, edited, and executive produced. The film earned over 800,000 impressions within its first three months on Tubi, ranked among the platform's standout Black cinema titles in 2020, and delivered a 1,300% return on investment. He later expanded into serialized storytelling with Trail of Dark Matter, a critically acclaimed anthology released across multiple streaming platforms.
