Wendy Faraone, an Italian and American citizen, is a dynamic and influential director in television and film. She began her career as an on-set acting coach, working on nearly 300 television episodes. Toward the end of her coaching career, she was honored to direct an episode of Disney Channel's Liv and Maddie. After a successful debut, the network invited Wendy to pilot a program for women directors. Over the past seven years, she has directed over 100 episodes and three pilots, becoming the first woman to direct a pilot for Nickelodeon.
Wendy's true passion lies in film and single-camera storytelling. Recently, she directed the holiday feature Saving Christmas Spirit, shot in the Highlands of Scotland, which was sold to AMC and is streaming on Amazon, Peacock, and Tubi. She is currently attached to direct a holiday romcom starring Britt Robertson and producing and directing a project about scare actors, which was recently featured in Rolling Stone. Wendy has also produced and directed the single-camera comedy pitch Lake Tuna and is developing three more feature films.
