Simeon Tsonchev was born on 19 October 1980 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduates with the short fiction Effacer (2008). Simeon is the founder of Mono Collective - a platform which support emerging Bulgarian filmmakers. Some of his works include the documentary Te otlitat (2013) presenting the variety of wild birds in Bulgaria, the short documentary Help us #SavePirin (2014) commissioned by WWF and the short fiction Pod edin pokriv (2020).
